This Privacy Policy explains how Creve (“Creve”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when organizers use our platform and when attendees register for events hosted on it.
Information we collect
- Account information — name, email, username, phone, and password for organizers and team members.
- Event & attendee data — event details and the registration information attendees provide when buying tickets.
- Payment information — processed securely by our payments partner, Paystack. We do not store full card details.
- Usage & device data — log data, device and browser information, and analytics about how the platform is used.
- Cookies — used to keep you signed in and to measure and improve the product.
How we use information
We use personal information to provide and secure the platform, process ticket payments and payouts, send transactional emails and tickets, deliver real-time updates, provide analytics to organizers, and improve our services.
How we share information
- Service providers — such as Paystack (payments), Ably (real-time), email delivery, and error monitoring, only as needed to operate the platform.
- Organizers— attendees' registration details are shared with the organizer of the event they register for.
- Legal reasons — where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, then delete or anonymize it.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, scoped access controls, and audited administrative actions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.
